Community and Employee Health and Safety

Kalagadi, contributes to the wellness awareness of its employees and stakeholders in the immediate community in which it mines.

We have established a Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Department which operates a 24 hour clinic in the mine’s premises. The clinic responds to medical emergencies and conducts regular medical checks on employees at company cost. Over and above this, the clinic also serves as a health and environmental education centre and regularly conducts sessions to raise employees’ levels of awareness on various health and environmental questions.
